Zur Blauen Traube in Memmingen

We booked our wedding dinner at Zur Blauen Traube. We were very satisfied with the support, preparation and advice. On the wedding day itself, reception, hospitality, the whole team very warmly and food with drinks everything was great. We and the guests were very satisfied. We can only recommend the restaurant. Thank you again for everything!

Had a nice dinner here. The service was great and with a smile. They have a good size seating area outside in the pedestrian zone and also some inside. I had the Putensteak (Turkey steak) with pan fried potatoes. The steak was a very good size, potatoes were really oily. My wife had the krautkrapfen (sauerkraut in pasty) with a sauce and salad. Was nice but not the best. They take credit cards too. I will be going back again!

Nice old-fashioned decorated restaurant, a real Bayern atmosphere. Especially the front cafe and terrace. Food was tasty and more than adequate. The map is still quite difficult for a non-German to read. Not fun to have a drink afterwards.

When I eat Allgäu cheese spaetzle here, I'm just happy. The roast beef with Allgäu cheese spaetzle is simply heavenly.

The closest to the Market Square (central) is the Bavarian restaurant "Zur blauen Traube". Traditional regional drinks and cuisine, there is a children's menu (some will enjoy the dish "Donald Duck" - cheese specials without salad and onions). It makes no sense to order some well-known beer brands, because politely - of course it's a joke! - will be asked to leave the institution. Next to the beer garden is a signpost for the blind, which can not be forced (chair, bag, stroller, etc.). Dogfriendly.

I've known the Blaue Traube my whole life and it has always been a great restaurant, unconventional and with large portions of very good Swabian cuisine. We hadn't been there in a long time and I was shocked how everything had changed. I ordered peeled Maultaschen, let's be honest, that was a maximum of 2-3 small Maultaschen cut into very thin slices and a handful of salad for around 13 euros. I was definitely not fed up. When I asked whether I could still have bread for this manageable portion, I received exactly 2 slices of bread unfriendly on the table. Usually when there is a complaint, the cook comes to the table and asks if there is anything else he can do. The grape probably no longer needs that. My daughter had dumplings with mushroom sauce, which was only enough because luckily the hunger was not very great. The only thing that was okay was the baked potato (also very cheap to make). There were four of us and three out of four meals were almost too little. I think it's generally okay if the plates are not completely overloaded and not much is thrown away. But then I have to offer a lookup when a guest points out that it was clearly not enough. I'm really disappointed, has become a real tourist restaurant. Well, maybe it's just like that everywhere now, it's getting more expensive and you get less for it. At least the quality was okay. But there wasn't much to be done wrong now.

Bavaria stop, beer stop, Haxn stop - way too much, but fabulous. And that on the evening when Bayern Munich split Barcelona 8-2. So everything as it should be ...

Unfriendly from the first minute, have no service plan. We couldn't judge whether the food was good, because after such a tremendous reception you lose your appetite. Never again! And no recommendation, no way!

Had a Swabian plate (schnitzel with fried potatoes and cream sauce) and a turkey steak with baked potatoes. The food was just outstanding! The combinations harmonized perfectly thanks to the wonderful spice. Always happy ? The food came super quickly and the conditions were also very friendly ?

We ate sooooo delicious. Just lovely. The new waiter was just as fun. If you want to eat Bavarian food, this is the place for you.

I have to say that this restaurant deserves a place in my top 10 best restaurants. Because the food is always right and high quality and true. The places are also in the "Corona fasse" is actually always quite good and also available without a reservation. In short, the perfect restaurant for eating and drinking.

Great beer, big dishes, small family restaurant in Memmingem. If you drink a lot of beer, count your glasses, they can make a mistake and you will pay more. When I told about the mistake they fix the bill, but pay attention for it. Beer is really great and food is big and tasty. Big man in staff not so friendly, but who cares?

Traditional restaurant with local dishes. Cosy, menus many languages, located in old town. Best Schweine Haxen I ever tasted. Big portions, friendly service, games for kids.

10 stars for this delicious meal! I enjoyed the trio, my husband the spaetzle. The salad had a good mix. In addition a semi-dry wine. Perfect! The place was very well attended and we sat at the table with another couple. The service is very friendly and quick.

Delicious traditional food to choose from and a lovely cosy atmosphere. We went around 5pm and it was full of locals, which is a testament to how good the food is. The staff are friendly and there's an English menu available.

This is one of the best places I have eaten around the world , food is delicious and the staff is very friendly, I was there March 17, 2019 and the two girls working that day were extremely friendly and nice and price is very cheap , I just love this place . Truly recommend it .

The restaurant #Zur blauen Traube# is one of the best choices in Memmingen if you want to experience good german cuisine. We ordered the wild boar with noodles and the duck with dumplings. Both of the meals tasted amazingly good. The style and the design is typical for the area and you feel cozy after you take your seat. The waitresses are professional and very fast in their service. There was nothing to complain about and you will feel happy after eating your big meal! Keep on going !
